Subject Preference

As per the instructions of Panjab University Chandigarh, courses / subjects will be offered as per NEP 2020 at the time of admission

  • Only those students can opt for History & Culture of Punjab in place of Compulsory Punjabi who are (i) not domicile of Punjab and have not studied Punjabi upto Matric level. (ii) Defence personnel and the children/wards of the Defence Personnel. (iii) Government and Semi Government servants and the children/wards of such government servants as have stayed outside Punjab for at least ten years before the admission of the student. (iv) Children of N.R.I. & N.R.E. and foreign students.
  • Computer Science at the BA/BSc level, if he/she has passed the +2 examination with Science / Commerce / Economics / Mathematics and Computer related subject like Computer Science / Information Technology etc. as one of the elective subjects or optional subjects.

  • ਜਿਹੜੇ ਵਿਦਿਆਰਥੀ ਰਾਖਵਾਂਕਰਨ ਨਹੀਂ ਚਾਹੁੰਦੇ ਉਹ ਬਿਨਾਂ ਕੋਈ ਵਿਕਲਪ ਚੁਣੇ ਅੱਗੇ ਵਧ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ ।
